Bellucci Méndez Rücker (BMR) originated in 2021, when founding partner Héctor Z. Méndez, together with Chris Rücker, launched RM Legal, a firm conceived with the vision of offering modern, efficient, and trustworthy legal services through comprehensive solutions for both local and international businesses.

In 2022, the incorporation of attorney Lino Bellucci marked a turning point in the firm’s strategic evolution, leading to a restructuring that gave rise to BMR Legal. In 2025, BMR reached a new milestone by joining TerraLex, one of the world’s leading networks of independent law firms with presence in more than 120 countries. This incorporation positioned BMR as the exclusive member firm for Nicaragua, expanding its global reach and capacity to provide clients with cross-border legal services under international standards, while maintaining the closeness and understanding of the local context.

That same year, the firm took a decisive step toward its consolidation as a leading professional services firm in Nicaragua through its merger with TaxAcc, a recognized accounting, tax, and audit firm led by Wilfredo Fonseca and Lesly Malespín. From this alliance emerged BMR Audit, a division that today defines BMR as an integrated professional services firm, combining legal, accounting, tax, and audit expertise with specialized areas in regulatory compliance, business management, and applied technology.
